During 2016-2017, DEH cluster has developed a strategic partnership with authorities and business environments from Indonesia with the support of Indonesian embassy at Bucharest, partnership that has as target the promotion of export offer and internationalization of cluster companies. Within this partnership, several events were organised within the country or in the foreign countries, including a meeting with some specialists from energy field wich took place in Romania.
Indonesia Business Day – Joint Business Support – represents a program support of economic operators who was presented on the 30 May 2016. During this event, 13 Indonesian firms came in order to develop business that include agri-food products, services, inclusive tourism, industrial products, export-import, foreign investisments etc. 30 Romanian firms, presented at the event, have discovered cooperation in bilateral plan, but also the possibility of export and import.

DEH cluster with USH Pro Business, supported by Romanian Embassy at Astana and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, have participated at the forum “Opportunities based on solutions and green technologies” on August 21-27, 2017 in Kazakhstan.
During the event, export offers of Romanian companies were presented, and the concept of Danube Energy Hub. Solutions related to innovation were expressed in the energy field, and to internationalization in the field of green energies.

Workshop “Business development opportunities through the geographical international system (GIS)” – May 26, 2017
In 2017 year, companies from DEH cluster benefited from a study made by Spiru Haret University through USH Pro Business center, a study that had the development of export capacity as target, by GIS services of the companies from cluster. Also, within the university, through USH Pro Business, an international conference took place, that has focused on ways of development for innovative solutions from the GIS field with the participation of experts, company directors, teachers and students. Following these activities, many students and teachers from the university have specialized in this field (GIS). A university student was employed at one company from this field.
